The Geoprobe 420m is a powerful little machine. It was designed specifically to be powerful yet as lightweight as possible. At 20 in. wide, 62 in. tall (folded), and weighing less than 400 lb., the 420M can be manually lifted and carried to remote sampling locations. It can also be deployed to hard-to-reach and narrow sampling locations. To power the 420m a remote hydraulic power source is required. Therefore, one on Enviroprobe's truck units or Enviroprobe's remote hydraulic power units must be placed within 100' of the 420m. The power units are powered by IC engines requiring adequate ventallation in the staging area for the remote power unit.
