The EP200 Simco offers flexibility, power, and rugged construction. Its hydraulic system provides peak output performance of the hydraulic hammer while maintaining sufficient power to all other functions. This unit has a down feed system which allows the operator to maintain a constant down pressure on the probe tool. This is the same technology used by larger drill rigs using down-the-hole hammers. By operating the hammer at 200 blows per minute the operator can cut though 6-8 inches of concrete in minutes using a rotary percussion drill bit.
The EP200 is fully operational under an 8 foot ceiling. This unit boasts a bit pressure control to ensure the units immobilization while drilling. The swing guide at the base of the mast helps keep tools lined up for strait probe holes.
The retract force of the EP200 has proven to be more than enough power for removing tool strings in any situation, it is a staggering 14,675 lbs!
Powerful, low over-head unit is mounted on a John Deere 2030 Pro-Gator and offers excellent off road capabilities where site access is a problem. This combination is a great choice for unique situations where a common drill rig can not access.
This unit is also outfitted with Geoprobe tooling for soil, ground water and soil/gas sampling. In addition to its direct push technology, this unit is also equipped with an auger head and can install 2" monitoring wells.
